MAN KILLED IN DEERFIELD BEACH ROBBERY

Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man killed Saturday night in Deerfield Beach.

Just before 8 p.m. Jan. 28, the victim was walking in the 3800 block of Northwest Third Avenue in Deerfield Beach when he was robbed of his belongings and then shot. The man was transported by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue to Broward Health North where he was pronounced dead. His name is temporarily being withheld pending next of kin notification.
