Broward Sheriffs Office Fire Rescue PIO Mike Jachles reporting a car crash possible underwater entrapment and Air rescue transporting. reported vehicle in water, possibly entrapment. BSO reports along with FHP a vehicle found submerged in I-95 Lagoon. Traffic had been shut down both north bound and south bound to allow “Air Rescue” to land.

Breaking News-FHP and BSO have  shut I-95 in both directions in order to allow Air rescue to land and transport.

UPDATES TO FOLLOW BREAKING NEWS!!

Bystanders reported a rescue attempt by Good Samaritans prior to BSO Fire Rescue saving a woman and child. The child was tansported by Air Rescue in critical condition,the adult by BSO unit 102. This accident did have I-95 shut in both directions from Tenth Street to Sample.FHP has a roadside Press Conference set for a few minutes we will report back with updates from FHP..

FHP reported a toddler in critical condition and an adult were safely extricated from the crash. Both transported to Broward Medical Center. The toddler by BSO Air Rescue the adult by BSO Fire Rescue ambulance.Traffic has reopened in all lanes on I-95 in Deerfield beach which had been closed to allow for BSO Air Rescue to land

Apparently not only did Good Samaritans dive in and try to rescue a mother and child ,but the father was rescues as well and transported to a local hospital.3 rescued in canal car crash.Deerfield Beach Toddler and 2 Adults Rescued from Car In Canal!

BREAKING UPDATE ON CANAL CAR CRASH!!

Deerfield-News.com-Deerfiel Beach,Fl- Good Samaritans came to the rescue immediately after the crash this Am at 11.03 on I-95.Video shows the Good Samaritans forming a human chain to help aid in rescue efforts dozens of cars stopped and people helped.

As reported I-95 was shut down in both directions from teth Street to sample road to allow BSO Air Rescue to land.

BSO and FHP reports the following information regarding todays crash.-Cynthia Jayne Hutchinson, 42, was behind the wheel of the Hyundai Elantra, while 42-year-old Christopher Ian Herndon and 3-year-old Aubrey Skye Herndon were passengers, according to the FHP incident report.

“The Good Samaritans were pulling the female and the child from the vehicle itself, but the obstacle was is the car was up onto its roof, they weren’t able to get into the car because of the suction, because of the car being upside down and the suction against the doors so that’s why they had to pull the car up onto its side and then open the doors,” FHP PIO spokesman John Baker said.

The reports from eyewitnesses say ‘Good Samaritans” were out in full force to save the submerged mother and child.

BSO  Fire Rescue PIO Mike Jachles said,  time is of the essence. “Every second counts. The sooner those victims can get out of the vehicle, the sooner we can begin advanced life support,” he said. “The sooner we can get them to definitive care hospitals.” Deerfield-news.com will continue with updates as we receive them from authorites.

 

 

BREAKING NEWS- UPDATE-  Saturday 3.00PM-Toddler mom  dies in Broward Medical center from her injuries.FHP is reporting that Cynthia Hutchinson the apparent driver of the submerged vehicle

Authorities say she later died at 6:52 a.m., Saturday.

An investigation is open and pending on this accident.No additional information about the passenger who did escape is and his current condition ,this is a holiday tragedy.
