Former employee Linda Gonzalez has filed a complaint against JB’s alleging JB’s failed to pay her overtime.
The complaint filed in Federal Court claims Beach House LLC, DBA JB’s On The Beach and John J Boyle have violated The Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to pay Gonzalez overtime she was legally entitled to receive.
The complaint alleges that during 2014,2015 and 2016 Linda Gonzalez was an employee of defendant and she worked for defendant and failed to be compensated for overtime hours worked violating The Fair Labor Standards Act.
Gonzalez is demanding a trial by jury and seeking back pay,unpaid wages legal fees and any and all other relief the court deems just.Her attorney is Tygar of Delray.Deerfield-News.com could not get any current employees of JB’s on The Beach to make any comments about this to us in a recent visit.
