Date: Oct. 24, 2016                                       Time: 7:20 a.m.

Jurisdiction: Deerfield Beach

Place of Occurrence: 466 Lock Road, Deerfield Beach

Victim: Pedro Rosado, 38, male, Deerfield Beach

Suspect: Unidentified male

Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives believe the same person who strong-armed a couple and a woman living on Lock Road in Deerfield Beach could be responsible for robbing a man Monday morning on the same street.

Around 7:20 a.m. Oct. 24, Pedro Rosado was putting things in his car outside his home in the 400 block of Lock Road when he noticed the suspect walk past him. The suspect returned a short time later, and this time he had a multi-colored bandana on his face and a silver gun in his hand. He demanded Rosado’s money and then hit him on the head with the gun before snatching the wallet.

BSO detectives believe based on several clues such as the suspect’s description and where the robberies happened that the same person could be responsible for two home invasions in late August. On Aug. 22, a woman was showering in her home on Lock Road when a masked male came into her home. He ordered her out of the shower and as she fled he shot at her. She was robbed of her car keys and electronics. On Aug. 24, a man was forced back into his home, and he and his wife were tied up as the suspect robbed them of their personal items and electronics.

The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early twenties. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and has short curly hair and a mustache.

Detectives are releasing a sketch of the suspect thanks to the help of Rosado and a BSO sketch artist.
