Description of Incident:
Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating last night’s shooting death of Josue Louissaint, 25, in the Deer Creek neighborhood of Deerfield Beach.
Just after 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the home of Danny Vu, 21, located at 4157 N.W. 6 St., where they found Louissaint’s body. Danny Vu was at the home when deputies arrived. Vu’s parents also live in the home but were not at the home during the incident.
Louissaint had an adult female with him during the incident. She fled the home at the time of the shooting. Deputies established a perimeter and were able to locate her the night of the shooting.
It is unclear what triggered the shooting. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and gather evidence from the scene to determine exactly what led to the death.
