Today we had the brisket lean on rye with deli mustard and potato salad and of course pickles and a Dr. Browns Black Cherry .”That was nectar!”
Once again the chocolate fudge brownie is off the charts second to none in this area.

Now in their 50th year in Deerfield Beach at 133 East Hillsboro Boulevard. Four generations of my family have been patronizing The Pickle Barrel since its inception in 1974. Have great memories as a 12-year-old going with my grandfather to the Pickle Barrel. I can still remember the counter against the wall. Many of the retirees who came to Florida “from up north” wanted some good deli. Many retirees went to Miami Beach before moving to Deerfield Beach and Miami Beach had their fair share of delis back in the day with Wolfies, Pumpernick’s, Corkies, and Wolfie Cohen’s Rascal House.
Service at The Pickle Barrel is excellent, they have eat in, and take out and they also offer delivery.
Originally established in 1974 located at 133 East Hillsboro Boulevard and has been serving out some great sandwiches to Deerfield Beach residents for nearly 50 years.
They offer a complete array of deli meats by the pound also, salads, knishes, pickles, rye bread, rugulah, Chinese marble cookies, black and white cookies, and more. The Pickle Barrel also can cater your next party or corporate event.
