OCEAN RESCUE WINS NATIONALS AGAIN!
Join the City of Deerfield Beach in congratulating our water gods for an impressive win at this year’s USLA National Lifeguard Championships. This win marks the the 3rd straight year #DeerfieldBeach #OceanRescue has won in the small teams (under 50 Lifeguards on staff) category. We are so proud of the men and women who keep our beach safe! The following lifeguards won gold medals:
• Dylan Narcowich and Roman Strohmenger open men’s board rescue
• Shannon Snell open women’s board rescue, paddle relay, and Taplin relay
• Anthony Cali and Danny Repass 30-34 men’s row
• Kevin Jones and Chris Hoch 35-39 men’s row
• Dan Lenehan 30-34 men’s paddle board and surf ski
• Jillian Kenney 35-39 women’s flags and row
• Jose Bolivar 50-54 men’s American Iron man and Run-swim-run
