Broward Elections’ Office is Ready to Deliver 3,245 Ballots to Overseas & Out-of-State Military Voters
Broward County, FL (September 21, 2018) — On Saturday, September 22, 2018, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections’ Office will send out approximately 3,245 vote-by-mail ballots to Overseas & Out-of-State Military voters for the General Election scheduled for November 6, 2018. Ballots will be sent to Broward voters wherever they reside around the world, so long as the voter has requested a ballot. Stateside family members are encouraged to contact their overseas family members to remind them to be on the lookout if they requested a ballot.
Domestic Vote-by-Mail ballots will be arriving in the mail boxes following the first mailing on October 2, 2018. Requests for ballots to be mailed will be processed until Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
Vote-by-Mail Reminders:
- Read all sides of the ballot carefully.
- Read and follow ballot instructions on how to return your ballot
- Return the vote-by-mail ballot with sufficient time for receipt prior to 7:00 p.m. on election day.
- Overseas ballots may be returned up to ten days following the General Election, but must bear the post mark of November 6, 2018 to be counted.
