2:20 pm: The FAA is leading the investigation. The plane is scheduled to be removed from the water tomorrow morning, with Boca Raton Police remaining on scene throughout the recovery process.
11:10 am: The sole occupant of the plane was transported to an area hospital as a precaution. The Boca Raton Police Marine Unit and the U.S. Coast Guard remain on scene while the FAA is en route. The public is asked to please not attempt to approach the immediate area.
10:25 am: Boca Raton Police are assisting with a small-engine plane crash in the area of 250 S Ocean Boulevard. No injuries reported. Please avoid the area while emergency personnel are on scene.
