Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-Deerfield Beach does not need DOGE or MAGA running our city. What President Trump and his sidekick Musk are doing to our country and some of its most qualified federal employees including Federal Agents, Intelligence Officers, and now the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is atrocious. Those who voted for Trump beware that our enemies and allies are watching as well as the terrorists and Iranians.

Now to Deerfield Beach. Election day is March 11.

Todd Drosky is the only qualified candidate running to be our Mayor. While our officials run non-partisan most voters know who is what. The last thing we need in our city right now is a MAGA right-wing Mayor.

Todd Drosky has the experience as an attorney and a 2 term City Commissioner to run our city. While I will only ask all voters to get out and vote for your choice. Deerfield-News who has not always been in favor of everything our current Commissioners and Mayor have done, we know Todd Drosky is the only qualified candidate to be our next Mayor.

Timmy Stevens is a joke he is a rabid anti-Semite and a satanist agent provocateur.

Dan Herz is a right-wing MAGA supporter who alleges all kinds of corruption exist yet never has presented any evidence. As I have posted many times if anyone out there has a shred of evidence a disgruntled ex-city employee or contractor or brother-in-law of either who has any evidence bring it to me. I promise that bigger news outlets that we have contacts with will publish. While Dan Herz may be a shrewd businessman and love our city he is not the man to be our next Mayor.

It’s his way or the highway. He blocks you on NextDoor and FB if you question his posts or ask for clarification. He insults City employees, posting personal photos of them, only having to remove them with an apology later. He is obnoxious and unprofessional at City meetings, throwing insults and falsehoods. He claims kickbacks and other terms, yet offers no proof. The incidents you mention above would not surprise me in the least. That is NOT what I am looking for in a City leader. People should do their research on his claims. Were the lifeguard stations expensive? Yes, yes they were. Were they more expensive than those purchased by other cities? No, no they weren’t. The cost was comparable. He claims the city blocked access to the Pier Cafe on purpose to block the business. The barriers were placed for safety reasons while construction is taking place on the pier. People complain the pier is damaged but then complain when it is being repaired. He didn’t want equipment placed in that parking lot……where was it supposed to go for easy access for the workers? Access to the cafe was never blocked from the north. A little inconvenient, yes. Blocked, no. Anyway, research before you vote.

It seems like every mention of Herz is met with emotional responses, anger, bullying, name calling. Not what I want in my community leadership. We need grown up professional people in City Hall. I don’t know who I’ll vote for Mayor yet but it won’t be Herz, going back to his campaign for city commission seat 1. Enough with the bullies who can’t act like adults in public.
