A motorcyclist died following a motor vehicle crash, and detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding this fatal incident.
The preliminary investigation revealed that just before 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, Boris Katz was on a 2015 BMW K1300 motorcycle traveling eastbound on Loxahatchee Road approaching Parkside Drive when Ronald Strobl, who was in a 2023 BMW X5 SUV, entered the path of the motorcycle. According to investigators, Strobl was attempting to head south on Parkside Drive when the collision occurred.
