Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-Recent DBPR records indicate Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza on Federal Hwy. in Boca Raton was closed by inspectors.Anthony’s originally started by Fort Lauderdale restaurateur Anthony Bruno of  Anthony’s Runway 84 fame was sold to Burger Fi.The inspector found live roaches during the visit and say the manager killed them.The area was cleaned and sanitized during the inspection.

35A-05-4 High Priority – Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. There are 3 live roaches in the electrical box at the back door in the kitchen There were 3 live roaches on the wall next to the back door in the kitchen. The manager was able to kill them. The area was cleaned and sanitized.
03A-02-5 High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. At the front counter soup station, pasta (75F – Cold Holding). The item was stored at room temperature. The item was at room temperature for less than 4 hours and was not prepared or portioned today.
