The city of Deerfield Beach Marketing and Public Relations Director Rebecca Medina Stewart told Deerfield News.com the following, “there is water intrusion, predominantly on the Fire Rescue side of the facility. The building is currently being evaluated to determine what kind of repairs will be needed. Fire Rescue is not working out of this location at the moment (because it is a live-in quarter for their operations). Ocean Rescue continues to operate from the second floor during business hours. “
