Deerfield-New.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-Guess some of us are old enough to remember when the police station was open 24-7. The hours now posted on Broward Sheriffs Office are now indicating they are closed Saturday and Sunday with Monday-Friday open the hours of 7 Am-7-pm.
Folks are questioning why the public does not have access to its police and that access should be 24 hours a day like calling 911. Not to mention BSO like many police departments encouraged the public to use “BSO” as a safe place when conducting sales on the internet from sites like Craigslist and Offer-up.com.
We all understand budget constraints and efficiency, but to close the one place the public has access to BSO?
