Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-The first of our public records request was just received from The State of Florida and it includes some photos. This report was obtained from The Florida Department of Health,Broward County.
While the City of Deerfield Beach maintains our drinking water meets federal guidelines in their email to Deerfield-News.com.The report indicates the system can run without power only limited by the amount of fuel that can be stored onsite which is 20,000 gallons of fuel. One of our concerns is, our source says to repair the system it must be completely shut down, and without another plant operating how can this be done? Where do Deerfield Beach residents get water from during the repair process?
More to follow as we read through the documents sent in this request and await the other pending request.
