Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-After yesterday’s post on Asian Buffet and Grill’s latest inspection failure, a reader has again raised the issue of why are they not shut down permanently. We have tried in the past to see what the statute / administrative rule is. We have not as of this posting received any responses to our inquiry from officials. Today again we have written to the DBPR and asked the question of what can be done if anything.

We understand folks will change the business name or file bankruptcy and start over with another name. Those looking to dodge whatever law there maybe will probably try anything, except cleaning their restaurants. We are also reaching out to some other state contacts we have to see if they can assist in getting to the answer. Is there is any mechanism in place to permanently close filthy restaurants that pose a health risk habitually?
