You got it texting the random person whose cell number is one digit different than yours, is now happening. When I was a kid we had prank calls,that is no longer a thing as a result of caller ID. So I this new phenomenon of texting your phone neighbor is weird some even find it creepy.
Twitter has been taken over with screenshots of what the responses different people are receiving from their phone neighbor. Some of the exchanges shown on Twitter have some unexpected results with neighbors going along with the prank and sending mems and even having virtual friendships. Some of the exchanges posted were hilarious others just weird.
