Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-Broward Sheriffs Fire Rescue responded to an apartment fire on the third floor in Deerfield Beach today. A one alarm fire at 4344 NW 9Th Ave in the Hertitage Circle apartment complex. Tiifani Mercurio was inside with her 11 month old daughter when the fire began the began in the bedroom.Tiffani was able to escape with her baby, even though she tripped in the panic. The Mercurios pet dog was hiding in a closet and was rescued by BSFR.The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical problem.
