Deerfield News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl

What South Florida can use after a tragic week in Broward county? Something “Happy ” come on out and celebrate the Grand Opening of Orchard Supply Hardware’s in Broward !!!

What

To celebrate the opening of its first four stores on the east coast, Orchard is throwing “The Happiest Grand Opening Ever” at each store, a weekend-long celebration of music, food, giveaways and fun activities, kicking off with the noisiest ribbon-cutting ever.

A multitude of family-friendly events are lined up throughout the grand opening weekend to bring the neighborhood together. From spin art to playing the PVC pipe xylophone and grilling local chefs for the best grill tips, there is something for everyone.

Each day during grand opening weekend, 300 neighbors per store will be able to adopt their Orchard potted plant. While supplies last, custom t-shirts and giveaways are also up for grabs including the grand prize – a handyman of their own with a year of $3,500 worth of small-scale home projects plus a $500 Orchard Supply Hardware gift card for supplies.

Please visit each store’s Facebook page (links below) for details.

As part of the company’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors program, Orchard is always looking for ways to give back within the neighborhoods it serves. As part of the kick-off festivities, Orchard will donate a total of $20,000 to four deserving organizations in South Florida, including SOS Children’s Village,  Deerfield Beach Boy Scouts,  Broward Regional Health Planning Council and Jason Taylor Foundation. In addition, Orchard will recognize one local hero from each group for their personal dedication to the community.

Every day will be fun and special so neighbors are invited to stop in each day to have the chance to receive a gift of the day and other special surprises.
